Introduction
Although the success of this venture is
multifactorial, it is requested that parents fill the registration
form and give to the group leaders with the fee and bring children on
time and participate in tests, so that we can monitor the progress.
The teacher names so far are as follows
For youth group: Ramesh
Gupta, Bhushan Gupta and Atul Prakash, Jyoti Gandhi and B S Rajpurohit
For middle group: Sangeeta
Kumar, Amita Gupta and Ratna Rajpurohit
For young children: Anita Shrivastava, Rachana Kumar and
Mrs. Sunandi
Leaders are :
Youth Group Dr
Atul Prakash, Middle group Ratna Rajpurohit and for young children
Anita Shrivastava.
Rules for the classes
- Teachers
of individual groups will be responsible for the classes and tests
and preparation for the presentations for the biweekly Havans for
their group and for the Holi and Diwali and other special
presentations.
- Since
Anita Shrivastava is in executive committee, in addition to being
in charge of the young children classes, will keep in touch with
middle group teachers only for presentation in the executive
committee meetings.
- Every
effort will be made to adhere to the curriculum.
Topics for youth and
middle group will be basically the same for Naitik Siksha.
For young children these will be simple stories.
- Hindi
curriculum will be about the same for all children. The technique
of teaching may be different.
- Hindi
test will be similar for all groups.
- There
will be total of 3 Hindi classes, one for each group. With in a
particular group class, effort will be made to teach at different
levels based on the ability of the child. If the number of
children increases significantly, we may have divisions with in
the group based on the ability of the child.
- There
will be 3 classes a month. Two on Havan Sundays and one on one of
the non-havan Sundays. Classes
each time, 45 minute each, starting after the Havan, at 3.45 pm
sharp to end at 5.15 pm.
- Children
are to come for Aarti as soon as the classes finish on the Havan
Sundays and stand in front, as is customary.
The classes should start
with recital of Om sound and a Prayer-Vaha Shakti Hame do Daya nidhe
and end with shanty mantra.
9. For the ongoing presentation by the children in the
main hall, after the havan,
Children will be encouraged to present what they have learned
in the classes
to make the presentation more meaningful and useful.
- Summer
Camps: In the summer, we intend to have camps for children, a
total of 3 or 4
weekends, on the topics, which will be selected based on the input
from the children.
- At
some point, we should have music and other activity classes for
children as well
